ABOUT ME...

I fell in love with recruiting while still in high school working as a store manager for two Dairy Queens. I was in charge of 30 employees and was responsible for interviewing and onboarding new team members.  That was really the first time I knew where I wanted to go with my career. I graduated from Oakland University (Go Grizzlies!) in 2011 with a degree in Communications.

I began my professional career as a recruiter for one of the largest logistic companies in the world. Recruiting for owner operators and fleet owners, I continued to learn new skills and technologies for recruiting the best possible applicants. I grew quickly with company and even spearheaded an entirely new company for veterans. “Troops to Trucks” became a success and also became one my proudest accomplishments.

In 2013 I had the incredible opportunity to live and work in New York City. I continued my recruiting career as a senior recruiter with a boutique staffing firm.  I fell in love with technology, the digital space specifically. I quickly began focusing my recruiting on digital marketing, social media, Sales & Marketing and software engineers.

In 2015, my family and friends brought me back to the mitten. I began as a Recruiting Partner at DIAG Partners in January 2015. Even after only one day, I knew I had found my proverbial “home”. Here at DIAG we really understand the culture and environment of our clients. It makes it genuinely fun to work with clients and candidates. We listen. We build and nurture relationships. We do what we say, when we say we’re going to do it, it's really that simple and awesome. Since 2015 I have enjoyed my continued recruiting success but have also been involved in the training and development of incoming recruiters and account partners. In early 2018, I began as their lead Talent Acquisition Partner and SHIFT Team Lead.

SHIFT Team is a dedicated resource of DIAG Partners whose sole responsibility is to work with our existing active (and passive) network. We are industry leaders and extremely knowledgeable in the market and will provide assistance in any and all of your staffing needs.

A little more about me…. I was born and raised in Rochester Hills, MI. As a true “Michigander” I love the outdoors and anything to do with sunshine and water. My ideal scenario would be sitting at the beach, sunglasses on, ear buds in, enjoying my surroundings and taking in the scenery.  I also love the city for many different reasons; I love being surrounded by the lights, the people, and the music that escapes from every corner. I am a big fan of all types of music and enjoying belting out to my favorite songs (Fun fact: I have a Vocal Performance minor from Oakland University). I read often, anything by Stephen King will suit my needs just fine! My friends and family are very important to me, including my rambunctious yet adorable dog!
